TripTasker er í lokaðri prófun (closed testing) á Google Play. Þú gerist prófunaraðili í tveimur skrefum:

Skref 1 — Gakktu í prófunarhópinn

Notaðu sama Google-reikning og er á Google Play í símanum þínum.

Skref 2 — Settu upp úr Google Play

Athugið: Eftir að þú gengur í hópinn getur tekið nokkrar mínútur (stundum upp í einn dag) þar til prófunarútgáfan birtist í Google Play í stað „appið er ekki í boði”. Leiðirnar hér að ofan eru fyrir Android — iPhone og iPad nota vefútgáfuna (Leið 2 hér að neðan).

Hvernig á að setja upp

Leið 1 — lokuð prófun á Google Play (mælt með)

Einfaldasta leiðin, og appið uppfærist sjálfkrafa eins og venjulegt Play Store app.

  1. Ýttu á Ganga í prófunarhópinn og staðfestu. Mikilvægt: notaðu sama Google-reikning og er á Google Play í símanum þínum.
  2. Bíddu í nokkrar mínútur (getur tekið upp í einn dag) eftir að þú gengur í hópinn.
  3. Opnaðu Google Play hlekkinn í Android-símanum og ýttu á Setja upp.
  4. Þaðan í frá uppfærist appið sjálfkrafa eins og hvert annað Play Store app.

Ef appið birtist enn sem „ekki í boði” eftir smá stund, athugaðu að þú sért skráð/ur inn í Play Store með sama reikningi og þú notaðir til að ganga í hópinn.

Leið 2 — iPhone, iPad eða tölva (vefútgáfa)

Engin Android-sími? Sama appið keyrir sem vefútgáfa (PWA) — sami bakendi, sömu ferðir og aðgangar.

  1. Opnaðu kristinnthor.github.io/triptasker-app í vafranum (á iPhone/iPad skaltu nota Safari).
  2. Til að fá app-tákn á heimaskjáinn: ýttu á Deila-táknið → Bæta á heimaskjá (e. Add to Home Screen).
  3. Opnaðu appið af heimaskjánum eins og venjulegt app — það skráir þig inn með sama aðgangi.

TripTasker is in closed testing on Google Play. Becoming a tester takes two steps:

Step 1 — Join the test group

Use the same Google account that’s signed in to Google Play on your phone.

Step 2 — Install from Google Play

Note: after you join the group it can take a few minutes (sometimes up to a day) before the test build shows in Google Play instead of “app not available”. The links above are for Android — iPhone & iPad use the web version (Method 2 below).

How to install

Method 1 — closed test on Google Play (recommended)

The simplest path, and the app auto-updates like any Play Store app.

  1. Tap Join the test group and confirm. Important: use the same Google account that’s on Google Play on your phone.
  2. Wait a few minutes (can take up to a day) after joining.
  3. Open the Google Play link on your Android phone and tap Install.
  4. From then on the app auto-updates like any other Play Store app.

If it still shows as “not available” after a while, check that you’re signed in to the Play Store with the same account you used to join the group.

Method 2 — iPhone, iPad or computer (web app)

No Android phone? The same app runs as a web app (PWA) — same backend, same trips and accounts.

  1. Open kristinnthor.github.io/triptasker-app in your browser (on iPhone/iPad use Safari).
  2. To get an app icon on your home screen: tap the Share icon → Add to Home Screen.
  3. Launch it from the home screen like a normal app — it signs in with the same account.
